EXPERTISE
Jamison Zajac joined MHE Engineering, D.P.C. in the Fall of 2015, bringing with him two (2) years experience as a structural and geotechnical engineer. Mr. Zajac is a Senior Engineer/Designer at MHE.
Mr. Zajac’s areas of responsibility include:
- Preparation and review of structural engineering design and analysis calculations,
- Preparation of detailed design plans and specifications,
- Project field engineering and consultation,
- Project/construction management duties as lead project engineer.
EXPERIENCE
BRIDGE EXPERIENCE
Mr. Zajac is experienced in the structural design of both new bridge construction and rehabilitation of various types of existing bridge structures. He has led the design of the preservation and rehabilitation of the historic Mott Street bridge (Steel Through Pratt-truss bridge) erected in 1903 in Milford, PA. Recently Mr. Zajac has led the repair designs for the Kimbles Road Bridge, a 126’ two-span bridge consisting of steel girders and concrete deck slab superstructures located in Lackawaxen, PA. Mr. Zajac assisted in the total bridge replacement design for the Mink Pond Road bridge in Lehman Township, PA, which utilized precast concrete elements to replace the existing, failing encased steel beams. Mr. Zajac has completed numerous professional bridge evaluations and repair estimates in Orange County, NY along with Pike County, PA. Over the last 6 years, Mr. Zajac has also completed bridge routine and special interim inspections and inspection reports for the 37 locally owned bridges in Pike County, PA.
