Client: Newburgh Brewing Company

The adaptive reuse of the turn of the century building recycled an abandoned industrial building into what is today the Newburgh Brewery.  The 4–story brick and timber structure was renovated and rehabilitated with MHE Engineering providing structural engineering and MEP engineering services.  All levels required modification to receive the brewing equipment and tanks on the lower levels, with tasting rooms and business offices on the upper levels.  A 4-stop elevator was also provided as part of the accessibility upgrade.  MHE Engineering personnel also provided on-site construction observation and administration as we worked with the owners and brew masters to accommodate the required equipment.
